    The surroundings

The fact that the electricity kept blowing on the first night

Very nice hotel. The room we stayed in needed a bit of updating, but it was comfortable, and had nice touches, such as a hairdryer, iron, tolietries and bottled water. The location was lovely, and the food was nice.

A comfortable night's stay in a very clean room. Drinks in the evening were reasonably priced. Breakfast next morning was not special, but as good as most hotels. A beautiful location. Excellent Spanish brasserie ten minutes drive away.

The French room was lovely. The bar was quiet and friendly. Maybe it was the company I was with that made it but it was one of the best nights I've had.

Court Coleman is a stunning hotel, typical victorian building with high ceilings and large stair case in the reception. Got a great price through Bookings.com and will defintly return in the next couple of months for another stay. Great room - couple of bottles of water, shoe polish, shampoo, shower gels, towels etc more than what I expected. I love indian food and good hotels so this hotel was the ideal place for me to stay, ive had many indians in different countries, however the curry at Court Colman was gorgeous, it had Defintly not been re heated, you can see the chefs cooking while you wait, you can even have a go at making a Naan if you want. Many thanks for a great stay, I will def be back !!!

That I did not stay for 2 nights

By far the nicest experience was the food in the resturant, unfortunately the quality of the room was not worth the money it cost...

The decor in the room was not worth the money it cost

Was ok but basic. A little un kept inside and shower was tiny and no bath, all seemed a bit basic compared to the pics. Staff were nice but feel Premier inns are nicer and more updated than this hotel, looked like it lacked a little investment

The room was lovely, clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and helpful and it's in a lovely location.

Absolutely nothing. Disgusting state of room I was first allocated. Would never recommend this hotel.

The slovenley manner of the the staff did nothing to endear me on my arrival. The whole place smelt of cigarettes, even though there should be no smoking at all in the building!!! The room I was first allocated was disgraceful. The state of the bathroom was grim - the shower, which was very closely aligned with the loo, was a health hazard. Black slim everywhere. When I complained and asked for another room, I was eventually given the Indian room. This was slightly better, but I have stayed in much better/nicer/cleaner rooms, all over the world. The breakfast was not worth the effort. The morning staff were just as uninterested. I was embarrassed, being Welsh, that people from other countries would stay here and thing that this 'hotel' was a good example of Wales.

The staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. The Indian restaurant served very good food.Great location and the views from the hotel were superb

The main hotel was well furnished and comfortable. However, the bedroom was dated and in need of a refresh! The bathroom also needed attention

We paid £90.00 for a family room and visit this area a few times a year. The only thing I would like to say is that the hotel could be doing with a really good clean and that the bedroom was filthy!!! I would rate this place 0/10 and am glad it was only for one night. The bedroom was just filth and that put us off attending for an evening meal.

    Leaving.

Everything. There were hairs in our unclean worn down room. No fridge, no hair dryer, large gap in door to hallway (could hear passers by talking), single pain window that let in a draft and outside noise, curtain that smelt stale and did not cover the whole window. Very unhelpful and unfriendly staff, we did not see a smile from one of them. Staff had no interest in looking after guests and made you feel like a burden and hinderence. Grounds need a lot of work, they are run down and not looked after. Would never even dream about returning in this life time. Horrible place and would advise all to steer clear.

The fact that it was my niece's wedding, but sorry to say not much else.

Staff very cold and unfriendly and also not very professional.

Friendly welcome, upgraded room, grounds and views are superb, very comfortable bed, refined ambience. Would recommend to anyone and will return

  • Family with children

The room that was allocated for my son was very nice and comfortable,

The family room only had a shower in the en-suite, despite the fact the room was more than big enough for a bath. As it was a family room a bath was preferred as it is easier to bathe younger children than shower, especially as the shower was difficult to use and dated. Likewise in my son's room the shower was very difficult to use
